In recent years, there have been very few blackouts, and even if the power-off property owners are selected in the early hours of the electricity shortage, they will no longer need to prepare candles at home to prevent sudden power outages.
Although I no longer use candles, I am still curious about how candles are made, so take them to the candle factory today to learn about the candle making process.
There are many ways to make candles, but first of all, you must first make a wick.
The cotton thread is easy to burn and the cost is cheap, so basically the cotton thread is used as the wick. In order to make the cotton thread harder, it is necessary to pass the pool filled with the candle solution.
In order for the candle to cool quickly, the cotton thread passes through a cooling drum. Subsequently, the already hardened cotton thread was rolled into a roll, waiting for the subsequent cut.
The basic principle of making a candle is the same, that is, the candle liquid is exposed to cold air and solidified.
Method 1: Pressing Dafa
The candle is heated and liquefied, sprayed into cold air, and then turned into a powder like crystal.
Pour the candle powder into the mold and compact it. The pressure will turn the powder into a candle instead of heating and cooling.
A small hole for the wick is drilled in the middle while pressing. Note: This process must be below 25 degrees Celsius to ensure that the candle does not adhere to the machine.
The pressed semi-finished candle is then sent to the wick, and the previously completed wick is cut to the appropriate length and tucked into the candle.
Method 2: Soaking Dafa
This method is to hang the wick on the frame and then soak it in the candle solution. Generally, after soaking for 25 times, there will be a diameter of about two centimeters.
Each time the wick is immersed, some liquid will hang and the gravity will raise the candle into a cone.
When you return to the candle pool again, the candle has turned white and hardened.
Method 3: Mold Dafa
Before I saw this video, my brain making method was like this.
Pour the candle into a heated mold and fill each small hole.
There is a "needle" in the middle of each small hole in the mold. This is the position reserved for the wick.
After 20 minutes of cooling, scrape off the excess candle on the top layer and then melt it again for reuse.
After the cooled candle is squeezed out and collected, it is sent to another machine to wear the wick.
When everything is ready, the candle will be swept out by the proud brush. This scene is like a brush saying "Go!"
These methods are all common candle making methods, and some special aromatic candles add substances such as essential oils and olive oil.
